Care & Handling
Every Caki Lawrence piece is made to travel — set up, packed away, and carried to the next table. A little care keeps it looking the way it did on the first night of play.

The leg channels are cut intentionally snug — slightly smaller than the legs themselves — so the legs grip and stay seated through play and travel. No hardware, no give.
Removing a leg: use the finger notch on the back of each leg to ease it out gently and straight. Never pull or pry from the side.
Installing a leg: line it up straight with its channel and press in slowly, with even pressure. Don't force or twist it at an angle — guide it home.
Cleaning: wipe the surface with a soft cloth, mild soap and water. Let it air-dry completely before packing it away.
Storing: keep it flat and out of the heat. Don't leave it in a hot car or in direct sun for long stretches when it isn't in use.
Wipe tiles with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them right away. Never soak them or put them through the dishwasher.
Skip harsh cleaners, alcohol and scrubbing pads — they can dull the artwork. Between games, keep the set in its pouch or case, away from heat and direct sun.
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. No abrasives or harsh chemicals, and keep them away from heat. To travel, stand them upright and apart — the Parlor Roll was made for exactly that — so they don't scratch each other.
Spot clean with cool water and a little mild soap. Blot the print rather than scrubbing it, then let the mat air-dry flat — both sides — before you put it away.
No washing machine, dryer, iron or bleach. Store it flat or loosely rolled when you can, and avoid sharp creases.
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, and blot rather than rub. On monogrammed pieces, work around the embroidery, never over it. Let it air-dry fully open before closing it up.
No washing machine or dryer. Store pieces upright or lightly filled so they keep their shape.
Brush lightly with a soft, dry brush or a lint roller to lift dust and refresh the nap. For marks, use a barely damp cloth and blot — don't rub. Keep it dry, and don't leave it crushed under heavy things for long.
